Delegation of US Congressmen Visits Georgia
Delegation of US Congressmen hosted by Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili visited Georgia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia reported.
During the visit, the delegation will hold meetings with Georgian officials, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Davit Zalkaliani, Minister of Defense Juansher Burchuladze and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava. Also, a meeting will be held in the Parliament of Georgia. During the visit, the congressmen will also visit the occupation line.
The congressmen visiting Georgia are co-sponsors of the “Georgia Support Act” initiated in the US House of Representatives.
The visit is organized by the US-Georgia Friendship Association. It should be noted that the delegation also includes the President of the Association and the Honorary Consul of Georgia in San Diego Melor Tsipuria.
