Turkey named its envoy for talks with Armenia
The Turkish foreign ministry has named Serdar Kilic, a career diplomat and Ankara’s former ambassador to Washington as its envoy for talks with Armenia.
To remind, on Monday, Turkish foreign minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that Ankara and Yerevan would appoint special representatives to normalize relations in the near future.
Armenia hailed Cavusoglu’s statement on the appointment of a special representative to normalize relations with Yerevan and said it would assign its own envoy to start a dialogue. Yerevan has not yet named its representative.
