Zas informs Pashinyan about preliminary results of CSTO mission

CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas, within the framework of the organization's mission to Armenia, met with the country's Prime Minister and Chairman of the CSTO Collective Security Council Nikol Pashinyan in Yerevan today.
According to the CSTO Press Service, Zas informed Pashinyan about the preliminary results of the CSTO Mission, discussed in detail its work and the current situation in the region.
The CSTO mission headed by the Secretary General was sent to Armenia in accordance with the decision of the extraordinary session of the CSTO Collective Security Council held on September 13, 2022. The Mission consisted of representatives of the CSTO member States, who are members of the Organization's working bodies.
The CSTO Mission is tasked to monitor and study the situation on the ground in certain border regions of the Republic of Armenia and to make proposals for further steps. Based on the results of the work of the Mission, a report is prepared for the heads of the CSTO member states on the situation in the region and proposals for the normalization of the situation.
