Armenia has not withdrawn its troops from Karabakh – I. Aliyev

"Despite the fact that Armenia recognized the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan in Prague and Sochi in 2022, it has not yet completely withdrawn its troops from the territories of Azerbaijan. Illegal Armenian gangs and criminal elements remain in Karabakh", stated the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on March 16, at the summit of the Organization of Turkic States in Ankara.
According to him, Armenia also evades the obligation to open the Zangezur corridor. "Armenia grossly violates the Declaration signed on November 10, 2020, and must bear responsibility for it," he said.
After the liberation of Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur from the Armenian occupation in 2020, Azerbaijan is carrying out large-scale reconstruction work in these areas. "We are restoring life in a larger area completely destroyed by Armenia. We are building 9 cities from scratch and more than 300 villages and towns," he said.
A big role in this is played Turkish companies, with which contracts worth more than $ 3 billion have been signed. Aliyev also noted Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan for the school and creative center built in the Fuzuli district.
